What is Microsoft Project?
-          Microsoft Project is a software application sold by Microsoft that provides project management tools to manage projects. It has many different versions.

What is Microsoft Project’s Ability?
-          To understand and control project schedules and finances

-          Communicate and present project information

-          Organize work and people to make sure that projects are completed on schedule

Who would use Microsoft Project?
-          Microsoft is a long-term project management tool that can be used by teachers, students, administrators, and staff to manage time and control the workflow of any project or task. Using Gantt harts, and other tables Project can help make large tasks manageable and increase the manager’s ability to tack and change timetables and sub-projects

What is the Cost of Microsoft Project?
-          There are different versions of Microsoft projects, but Microsoft Project Standard 2010 cost between the prices of $400 to $470 depending on where you buy it from.

-          The Product is licensed per user. The single user comes for around $130.

What are the pros and cons of Microsoft Project?

-          Pros
o   Easy and not complex to use the program

-          Cons
o   Document Control
§  No document control within the program
§  No single repository to hold all project related document in one place

o   Online interlock
§  Emails need to be sent to other users with attachments
